While we strive to keep things simple at every opportunity, the nature of solid wood furniture can sometimes be anything but. Below are a list of questions we’re often asked along with our best answers. If you need more info or would like to make a general inquiry, don’t hesitate to contact us.


General Questions

  • Can you do custom pieces?

    Absolutely. We welcome custom orders. We can cut custom slabs to any size or dimension. We use epoxy to fill in the gaps and offer a wide range of colors.

  • What is the lead time for custom orders?

    Most of our lead times can vary between 8 to 10 days if the slab is in-stock in our warehouse.


    Items showing "Coming Soon" may take several weeks to arrive plus the processing time of the custom work to be done. We can give you a rough estimate of time once the item is ordered.

  • Do you work with Designers, Architects, and Dealers?

    Yes certainly do. We love working with industry professionals. We offer a wholesale rate for the industry as well. Please call ahead to learn more about our Wholesale program.


    We also welcome the DYI-er and any local, wood-making enthusiast.

  • What are your business hours?

    We're open Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday/Sunday 11:00am to 5:00pm.

  • Where are your products made?

    We finished all our slabs in-house at our McCaysville location.


About The Wood

  • Where does your wood come from?

    We source all our exotic woods from Costa Rica. A place abundant in natural and exotic resources to provide you with the best quality out there.

  • What finishes do you offer?

    We have several finishes from sanded to smooth.

    We oil a range of oils to bring out the best to match your specifications and accentuate the natural beauty of the wood.


    We also use clear epoxy to fill gaps and can also be customized to match your style.

  • What species of wood do you carry?

    Some of the types we carry, but are not limited to, are:

    • Perota
    • Monkey Pod
    • Wild Cashew Tree
    • Pochote
    • Black Walnut
    • and some others.

  • What base options can I choose from?

    We can customize your base to your specifications but as a standard, we offer the metal base with a coating to match your style. 


    Or for an additional fee, we offer a wood base to match the finish of the slab specifications.

  • How do I care for my slab?

    For everyday, normal cleaning, we recommend a soft, damp lint-free cloth. You can add a little mild soap, like dish soap, if necessary. Then, wipe dry with another soft, lint-free cloth.


    We strongly recommend against using aggressive cleaning products, abrasives, or excessive moisture. 


    The finish on your table is exceptionally durable and will withstand many years of normal use.

  • Are your tables food-safe and waterproof?

    100% food-safe and waterproof.

    Regardless if there’s ever a stain or a scratch, it can be easily brought back to its original look with some easy techniques.

  • Do you offer a warranty?

    Currently, we do not offer warranties on any of our pieces. But we are more than happy to work out a solution to any problem if it's within our power to do so.


Processing + Shipping

  • How long do custom orders take?

    In-Stock items are ready to be delivered or picked up at any time within our business hours.

  • Can you ship internationally?

    Currently, we do not ship internationally. But feel free to call us and we can work out the details.

  • How do you ship the slabs?

    We have a local delivery option and secure your items with the utmost care.  Once we reach your location, we will set up your table and make sure it's clean and dusted before we leave.

  • Do you offer local pick up?

    Yes, sure do. Once your order is complete and ready for pick up, we will notify the contact number on the order and set up a time for your pick up.


    Please make sure you have enough space in your vehicle to load your item.  We cannot be held responsible for damage during the pick-up.

  • What is your return policy?

    Contact us if you have any issues so we can handle your situation carefully and promptly.
